We’re Leroy and Margaret Hill, a husband and wife team living in Southern California. Together we’ve served in ministry for over 50 years. Leroy teaches philosophy, apologetics, and theology; Margaret is a professor in Christian counseling and education. We’ve written and taught for decades, each following different callings but always rooted in the same purpose: to help believers grow in wisdom and faith.

We publish often

We email our subscribers twice a week to keep the conversation steady but not overwhelming. While we publish multiple times on Substack throughout the week, we know no one likes an inbox flood. So, we share a thoughtful selection by email and leave the rest available anytime you want to dive in. Margy Hill is a Professor and Director of the MACC Program at Southern California Seminary. She equips counselors to care biblically and leads the Call to Care program, training churches to provide Christ-centered care to their communities.
